FL3820A - Basket of Gold
Aurinia saxatilis. Basket of Gold Alyssum seeds produce a low-growing evergreen perennial with a profuse golden bloom from mid- to late spring. It is widely used in rock gardens and alpine beds, or cascading down rock walls. Butterflies, bees, and birds are attracted to the dainty flower clusters. After bloom, its attractive silvery foliage makes a wonderful ground cover. Provide good drainage in full sun. Named for its similarity to Alyssum, Basket of Gold is not a true Alyssum. Rather, it is a fairly tough and easy perennial plant that blooms from mid-spring to the beginning of summer. Height to 8-30cm (4-12"). Hardy to Zone 4.
