Help jumpstart the new school garden! The PAC Garden committee has big dreams for the students of Quadra Elementary, so we have moved the garden from the lower field to the upper back field. This puts us next to the new Community greenhouse for partnered workshops, as well as giving us plenty of light and root free soil!

Our aim is to showcase a variety of growing techniques so students can understand the benefits of different styles. Our own Quadra Island is home to gardeners, farmers, homesteaders, flower growers and more. There is no right answer for growing, but understanding the seed, the dirt, the conditions and your available time all play a part in decision making.

Our fundraising efforts will help create an area for classes to gather and learn. We need benches, wooden posts, shade sails, and clipboards to complete this area. We are aiming for $700.
