The Prince of Wales Garden Club is more than a club – it’s a community, one that brings students and staff together through growing and learning about plants. Even throughout the summer when school was out, students came back and watered, cared for, and harvested during their break. Last year we began our medicine wheel project, which has become a big part of the garden and has taken lots of hard work to create. The goal is to make a space to facilitate learning about native plants, sacred medicines, and biodiversity. We are trying to raise funds to help maintain and improve our garden space, as well as facilitating collaboration with other classes with informational signs, an irrigation system, hoop houses, extra seating, and workshops. We get 40% profit from sales, which will go directly towards these goals.
