Canadian Parents for French (CPF) Castlegar is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to promoting and supporting French Second Language education for students in our community. Our goal is simple but powerful: to ensure that all children in Castlegar have access to quality French-language learning opportunities that open doors to future education, careers, and cultural connection.
French education builds confidence, strengthens cognitive skills, and connects students to Canada’s bilingual heritage. Through our work, CPF Castlegar supports local French Immersion and Core French programs by providing classroom resources, student enrichment activities, cultural events, and scholarships. From author visits and cultural celebrations to classroom materials and student recognition, our initiatives help bring the French language to life for learners of all ages.
As a local chapter, we rely entirely on fundraising and community support to continue this work. Funds raised through this campaign will directly support:
