Briar’s Bursary was created in loving memory of our eldest daughter, Briar, who died on October 20, 2022. We imagine Briar would have a deep love for animals, the outdoors, and a desire to care for the natural world.

Through this fundraiser with West Coast Seeds, we are continuing a legacy rooted in kindness, growth, and connection. Funds raised through Briar’s Bursary go directly toward sending children to pony camp in 2026 at Briar Patch Farms through Ponies and Pipsqueaks: a place where children learn, imagine, and thrive alongside rescued ponies.

Since Briar’s death, we have been able to sendfour childrento attend a full week of pony camp in her honour. With your support, we hope to continue and expand this legacy project, creating more opportunities for children, sharing Briar’s story, and planting seeds of joy, confidence, and belonging that will grow for years to come.

This fundraiser will run from February 1 to 22, 2026 and you can expect seeds to be delivered 3-4 weeks afterwards.
