Waltham 29 organic broccoli seeds are CERTIFIED ORGANIC! This is a stocky, compact plant that grows to about 52cm (20") tall with dark blue-green, solid heads. After the main head is cut, masses of smaller side shoots emerge. Waltham 29 was developed for late summer and fall harvests, and was bred to withstand the increasingly cool nights of fall as it reaches full maturity. It's a good variety to sow in July for those end of season pickings. Waltham 29 organic broccoli seeds were developed by the Agricultural Experiment Station back in 1951.
