CERTIFIED ORGANIC! Tender and True parsnip seeds produce smooth, white roots that can be harvested all winter in mild areas. In cold root storage they can last up to six months. This is the variety planted for exhibition parsnips — carefully cultivated ones can be extremely long. They are nearly coreless and have a sweet, delicious flavour. This heirloom variety is a winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, and has good resistance to canker.
Take caution during sunny weather: touching the plant may cause skin burns.
