Choose White Wing storage onion seeds for the best white early long day onion on the market. This is a flexible, versatile onion that will perform well in a wide range of climates. This variety has improved white skin and robust tops that provide shade for the bulbs - and that means less greening. Bulbing starts early in the summer, and crops sown really early can be ready by the end of July. So consider repeated plantings for a longer harvest window. White Wing has reasonably good storage ability, and will make it into the new year if properly cured and stored.
These seeds are coated with an inert, organically certified layer which helps to minimize clumping in storage and seed sowing machines. The coating is approved by organic certifiers in Canada, the US, EU, and Japan.
