Truchas mini romaine has an upright habit and saturated deep wine color. Glossy, slightly blistered outer leaves hide a bright green center. Enjoy the crunch of a romaine and the buttery interior of a butterhead in one head! Truchas has a similar compact size as Breen, making it excellent grown as a companion, along with our mini green romaines, Newham and Spretnak. Plants can be spaced as close as 15cm (6") apart.
