The Chrysanthemum genus includes a wide range of flowers. Long-lasting plants from Chrysanthemum seeds gradually form clumps over the years, and these can be divided and transplanted in the fall. We have included the white flowered Shasta Daisy in this category although it is not strictly speaking a Chrysanthemum. Painted Daisies brighten the early summer garden in shades of white, pink, rose, and red. They contain pyrethrum which is used as a natural insecticide.
Bloom time: Summer to autumn.
