Cerinthe Seeds

The ancient Greeks believed that bees extracted wax from the flowers of Cerinthe in order to produce their wax honeycombs. Cerinthe seeds produce a short growing annual with leaves like Eucalyptus and nodding purple flowers. This cousin of borage fits into nearly any garden setting and bees love its flowers.
