Speckled Butterhead Organic lettuce seeds are CERTIFIED ORGANIC! The most delicate and beautiful leaf lettuce of all the varieties we carry, Speckled Butterhead has apple-green, buttery leaves with bright red, uniform little speckles, not blotches. This lettuce is elegant as a full leaf for presentations, spectacular as a baby leaf, and it matures to a tightly packed, tender head with soft wrapper leaves. Try Speckled Butterhead in larger containers or raised beds. Sow short rows every couple of weeks to stretch out the harvest window. This will prevent the whole crop from coming mature at the same time.
