Newham little gem lettuce looks like a rose with its rounded, outward-curving leaves. Fast to mature, emerald green heads have a nice open yet upright habit and tight center, like a butterhead. It looks lovely in the garden, on the plate, and on the market table with our other compact varieties Truchas and Breen. Vigorous and reliable spring through fall and a good performer with protection to extend the season.
