CERTIFIED ORGANIC! Trigonella foenum-graecum. This pungent herb, also known as methi, is widely used in Mediterranean, Middle-Eastern, and South Asian cuisines. Its fresh or dried leaves can be used as a herb, and its seeds can be used as a spice. Fenugreek also makes very tasty, strongly flavoured sprouts or micro-greens. It is in the legume family, and closely related to fava beans, so it will fix nitrogen in the soil if allowed to grow to maturity. The pale yellow and white flowers are followed by pods that will take on a straw colour when the seeds are mature. The plants can reach 60cm (24") tall.
