Rosie Organic basil seeds are CERTIFIED ORGANIC! Rosie Basil is a vigorous plant and holds its dark colour better than any other purple basil variety. It has exceptional flavour and is very productive growing tall purple stalks and attractive lavender flowers that look great in the garden. Very few green plants occur but this is normal. Variability is a simple fact among open pollinated seeds. If green seedlings are found, they can be weeded out at the seedling stage, but they will still produce good basil flavour. If saving seeds, remove all the green variants and save from your best looking plants.
