Red Kyona Mizuna Organic mustard seeds develop into baby greens in as few as twenty-one days! Its leaves are mature for salad mixes in only 40 days. Deep red/purple leaves with slight green petioles. This Kyona type mizuna looks spectacular in salad mixes. Its flavour is mild, but it has a very nice texture. The feathery leaves add air and body to salad mixes, and grow very quickly. Bright overhead light will improve the bronze/purple colour of the leaves. All mizuna varieties are good candidates for winter gardening from fall planting, as well as microgreens.
