CERTIFIED ORGANIC! Perfect for containers or small spaces, Piccolino Organic basil forms very compact, small, nearly spherical shaped clumps. Tiny leaves adorn its numerous branching stems and form a very densely packed surface area. The fragrance of this Greek basil variety is strong and warm, and the flavour is intense, with hints of cinnamon, mint, and anise. These plants look superb in a six inch container, as the mature plants are 15cm (6") tall and about 20cm (8") in diameter. Of course, they will work just as well in the herb garden, or spaced close together to form a low-growing, edible hedge.
